Walking Paths Series
A series of paintings of walking paths near my home in Old Guildford, Sydney. These are paths I walk often and through this repetition they have become embedded with memories and associations that remind me where and who I am. Roads, intersections and footpaths are overpainted, highlighting the path I have walked like a suburban desire line.

The Pipeline Series, 2018 - ongoing
Beginning in 2018 when I moved into the Western Sydney suburb of Old Guildford on Dharug Country, I have been documenting my neighbourhood with a Polaroid camera. The Polaroids are painted-over using acrylic paint from a 4-colour palette. The colour palette was chosen from the light blues and greens of post-war fibro housing prominent in the area, the red brick of the Arabic Gospel church next door and the yellowing of the grass in the Western Sydney heat. This series has grown to include the suburbs of Kununurra, Westen Australia on Miriwoong Country; Toowoomba, Queensland on the land of the Giabal and Jarowair people and Toogoolawah, Jinibara land in Queensland.
